Joe Chisholm Skyrockets to Opening Night Win at the Fall Jamboree
Since debuting his new Skyrocket, Joe has found multiple trips to victory lane this summer. A nice boost of confidence to finish out the season.
Recliner Reaction Update
With all that being said, my goal this week is to be at least one of the Fall Jamboree events at Deer Creek Speedway.
"Viva" la Mark Smith at Route 66 Motor Speedway
Mark did what he needed to do given the track conditions, but a USMTS win is a USMTS win in my book.
Sanders Stays on the Right Path at Off-Road Speedway
That's what I like about USMTS and why I've followed it for 21 years now. Each night is different, whether it's car count, track size, announcer, possible winner.
Mullens Hits the Jackpot at Casino Speedway
It wasn't the end of the world, they were having fun and experiences new tracks and making friends in the racing family. They always took time to reply back to my comments which I appreciated.
Chisholm "checks" off win at Boothill Speedway
In my unofficial following of the USMTS for the past 21 years, Julie was the 9th female to attempt a USMTS event. It appears she's run pro-mods in the past few years. She drivers a purple and white #87 that caught my eye when I saw it during hot laps.
Dillard Driven to Mason City Victory Lane
This is a race you should try to attend in person and support if able. Good luck and thank you to everyone who will be putting in some long hours before, during and after to make this a premiere event for the Modifieds.
Sanders Soars to Victory at Deer Creek
Picked up his career best finish in his Rage/KS Engineering car. His previous best was a 9th during the Jamboree. A local favorite who's Dad was the first winner at Deer Creek Speedway for mods. Good momentum leading into the MTS race later this week.
Strickler Tickles the Nickels at Britt
The PA Posse and the WoO Sprint Cars have their spirited rivalry, the Deer Creek Posse vs USMTS is the same thing with the 50 to the 3rd leading the way.
It's Hoppin'
For all the consternation we hear about streaming from time to time, nothing beats the real thing. The sights, the sounds, the smells, the people, the food, all of it blows sitting on the couch out of the water.
The season opener at Ogilvie Raceway this past Saturday was no exception.
